Maternity Ward and our Pedi!

Today was soooo LONG!!! OMG! My little piggies are swollen!
We had an appointment with a nurse at the maternity ward to take a tour. I'm glad that i made that appointment cause like with any hospital, it's a maze. The hospital is REALLY nice and spacious. I saw a delivery room and i just kinda pictured myself on the bed doing a "spread-eagle" and that just put things in perspective; sinking in how close we are getting to labor. ugh...scary! After delivery, they take that bed away and a murphy bed comes down for Dee and I to sleep in! Awww! The nurse said that I can only have one other person in there with me..so of course i told them Dee. Then she gave me this packet on breastfeeding and stuff!
We then had an appt. with our Pedi and Dee and I both really like her! I loved that she said for emergency situations, she makes appt.s for that same day and she doesn't charge for any calls. She was just very informative and answered all of our questions. They also have 2 seperate waiting rooms: sick kids and well kids! Loved that!
We also went grocery shopping, went to target to get Baron's curtains, got ice cream, and went to hobby lobby....phew!
so, today was good and I can say that I am truly ready now and not as scared.

I bet the hospital is very nice, if it is anything like the office visits section. I am glad you are at ease with what you will be going through. It is always nice to meet the doctors, nurses, etc that will be attending you. And also the pediatrician that will be taking care of Baron. It won't be long now. They will take good care of you, Baby Baron and Dee, the "daddy" is also very important!!! Love you, Mom

Im so glad you had a good interview with your doctor! That is always reassuring when you feel really good about your kids doc. that is so cool about the separate waiting rooms too!! I was always so scared about my babies getting sick from the other little kids when we had to go to the doc often in those first few months. Im glad yall have a good feeling about everything! I can't believe Im gonna have a little nephew soon! AHHHH!!!! And then another to follow shortly!

I'm glad that your tour of the hospital and your visit with the Pediatrician went well. I know it was a long day for you. Hope you went home and put your feet up! The hospital will certainly take care of you, Baron, and Dee. Be sure to ask your nurse if you need anything!

Love ya!

Ha.Ha. Baby Baron has the hiccups. How funny. He is used to you eating healthy and then you surprise him with a taquito!! He says "what the heck is going on"!!
Well, he might as well get used to Mexican food. LOL.
Take care and we are waiting!!!!
